The Hakko FM-203 is a soldering station with an accompanying soldering iron and stand, used for attaching components to circuits or reworking existing circuits. There is a fume extractor beside the station, which must be switched on at all times when using a soldering or desoldering station. All prospective users must complete the uCreate soldering training. Use is limited to staffed hours only.
Unleaded solder is provided. Only removal and rework of existing leaded solder joints is allowed -- no new leaded soldering. The only tips which should be used only for leaded rework/removal are marked Pb.
