The form 3 is a high grade SLA printer which can print reliably and to a very high level of detail. While post processing takes longer and is more arduous than FDM, the finished prints are without layer lines and of a high quality. Form 3 prints are washed in an automatic IPA washer, before being cured by UV light, then supports are removed and then the model is sanded is and can be oiled. It does however have a small build plate.
In order for us to keep SLA printing free and available to everyone, we limit the amount of resin used per person printing at one time. Just because your print may fit on the build plate dimensions mentioned below, does not mean we will be able to print it. Larger models should be FDM printed on our Prusa Minis.
