uCreate Knowledge Base

Check out our knowledge base for in-depth advice on using our equipment, a great refresher for those who have already completed our equipment training.

uCreate is The University of Edinburgh's library makerspace, loans and multimedia service. We are open to all students, staff and alumni of the University and offer advice, training, and support to help you make (almost) anything.

uCreate KB 3D printing facilities closing 23rd December.

 

Due to an ongoing lack of resources, uCreate will be permanently closing the 3D printing facilities in the Noreen & Kenneth Murray Library. The multimedia PCs and poster printing service will not be affected.

 

Our Main Library services will continue to run as usual – please email ucreate@ed.ac.uk if you have any questions or wish to discuss how we can continue to support you. 

 

 

 

 

Opening Hours:

The Makerspace staffed hours for semester 1.

Tuesday - Thursday: 10am - 8pm

Monday & Friday: 10am - 5pm
